Startups With Good Growth Potential

The Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville says employees of the startup companies accepted into its business incubation program make nearly four times the national median salary.
GAGE, the economic development arm of Evansville, says a survey found employees at companies in its Innovation Pointe entrepreneur program reported annual earnings of more than $121,000, nearly four times higher than the national median and added nearly $1 million in equity to the wealth of the region.
Firms applying for admission to Innovation Point were required to submit business plans with specific growth targets and a long-term plan for graduating from the incubator, which provides a number of services to the startups.
